that's what i thought. i don't get why someone would shoot to kill such a regal and endangered animal. there used to be 7 subspecies of tigers living in a certain area of asia. and now only 5 exist. i don't really get why people(poachers) would want to kill exotic and endangered animals.

just thought someone who understands game hunting, etc. could explain it maybe?

No, but I'd pop a magnum cap on someone I saw do it.

theres lots of things people do that I dont get but please dont think because some of us being hunters would enjoy shooting endangered species. I've shot hundreds of ducks and geese in my life so I like bird hunting but I would get no pleasure out of shooting a bald eagle

Heck No.

I think you are talking about the kid that killed one in North Louisiana and chopped its head off hoping that people wouldn't be able to identify it. Then his dumbass went around telling people that he killed it.

Chocula - You are twisting my words around.

Girl4 - welcome to the OB.

no. i'm not. i am talking about one that was shot, and it survived. they removed the part of the wings that help it fly and are sending it to a refuge and conservation area.

eta: i've already posted on this board when it first was added. but that was before you were a member to my recollection.

I'm glad it survived but what the hell is wrong with people.

It's so amazing seeing one in person and don't know who in their right mind would want to shoot one.

ETA: Must have been before my time as a poster. Welcome back then.
