Exactly, when we get Miami(Oh) vs Cincy on ESPN, I'd prefer the Ravens vs Titans.

A better thread would be to compare the star values of both LSU & Alabama's starting 24 and see how they compare. You'll see a lot more star value in Tuscaloosa and yet we were about as even as you can get performance wise. QB being the exception.

75% of fans in Tiger Stadium will not know they are brothers until his Sophomore year and Verne starts to relay the information every 6 minutes and 12 times a game.

I have a Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Blanca in the fridge for dinner, anyone tried it?
Not pressing Moore at the end of a cycle is a mystery. No smoke on Moore or Peters this past month. Thought for sure they would start pressing.
I would hope the staff is pressing for an LOI regardless of academics unless he's so far gone he's Juco bound.
You gotta figure we need to make a move. It's time to double down and get off our rear ends. Henry is the first step.
There is still a piece we need, an excellent coach and recruiter. We need to increase the recruiting budget and start making calls on 2013 TOMORROW.

The affect of social media on recruits and the importance of positive PR
Posted by Case Deep on 2/1/12 at 2:12 pm
To deny that fans reactions on social media outlets like Twitter, Facebook, and yes, TD.com has an impact on recruits is senseless.
This is the age we live in. To clarify, I am in the social media industry. It's not just TD.com, it's fans reactions to Facebook, Twitter, and all outlets to reach out to the kids.
Consumers are now directly tied into the companies in which we they do business with through these outlets.
A NCAA program is a corporation and companies pay me a lot of money to protect their brand by coming up with strategies to optimize their social media presence. The direct feedback loop goes directly into the recruits ears.
Would you take a job if you heard it was getting bought out, going under, etc? These kids here all these things and to be echoed at the volume in which these outlets broadcast most certainly creates issues.
It is up to the coaches to resolve these issues, handle the PR appropriately and protect their brand. They have done a terrible job since January 9 at this.
It is of extreme importance for LSU to get a handle on this wave of negative publicity and present a face to this struggle.

Agreed. To discount the affect of social media on these kids is not looking at what is happening in our culture today.

I use the heart to grind up into dressing meat. Real good stuff.
Try Bouchon or any Keller spot. Rubochon and Craftsteak in the Grand are really good as well.

Pretty close on most of these guys. Most were impact college players

Great pickup and also has connections to other commits via the 7 on 7s. He is going to be a player for sure.

A few things I remember both about LSU basketball in the early 90's & late 80s.
Chris Jackson cross over dribble and stop and pop for 3.
Shaquille running the point on fast breaks.
Vernel Singleton's band aid under the eye.
The big games in the Superdome (Georgetown, etc.)
Absolutely phenomenal talent.

Get a therm for your grease. Nothing sucks worse than a beautiful golden brown skin and pink meat on the bone.
