I’m trying to figure out the best brand of stainless gas grill to set in a counter top for an outdoor kitchen. Whatcha got? Quality will outweigh price in this decision.

Weber's Summit Series is top notch. Another great brand is Napoleon. Their Prestige Pro is a great quality grill. Both have similar features and size comparisons in their model line ups. If I was splurging on an outdoor kitchen that is what I would look at IMO.

Gop to Shoppers Choice in Baton Rouge on Coursey. They have every top end brand made. When you see them all side by side you're left with one that is head and shoulders above the rest... Blaze Professional.

Saber grills. Fantastic warranty. If any part needs to be replaced, they’ll send you what you need no questions asked.

Blaze grills are also made in Baton Rouge I think. I agree go to that place and look at them all side by side.

Also get an extended warranty. I have a blaze fridge in our outdoor kitchen. I bought a 4yr extended warranty that expired aug 21st of this year (week ago) and the fridge stoped working on aug 1st. They are not going to fix it, they are giving me a voucher check from shoppers choice to get a new one....and I’ll buy another warranty.

I have nothing more to add on the gas grill...I have Primos. I was going to get a big gas grill until a forum member talked me into trying a Primo.

Good luck.

Weber Summitt if you can afford it, Weber Spirit if you can't. Either way, Weber.

They're headquartered in Baton Rouge but are made in China.

That’s what meant there office is in BR sorry pre coffee . Lots of that is made in China...I wonder if there prices have gone up or will?

OP are you only interested in a gas grill? I was until I tried a ceramic grill. I had always used a gas grill...but the first time I cooked some pork chops for the wife on a Primo that all changed.

DCS if you want top of the line.

Blaze is good, but not the same level. I have a Bull that I am fond of.

I have a blaze and like it as well. Very well made and has lifetime warranty on everything except igniters.

I bought their fridge and it crapped out 1 month after warranty ended which is only 6 months. replaced it with a cheap one off amazon, can replace it 4 times for what the blaze cost me.

What fridge? I got the 5cft one and it lasted 4 years and it took morning sun dead on until about 10ish. I always get extended warranty for something like that exposed to the elements.

the 5 CF one. Really only ran for 4 months as it sat the first two months in my shop waiting for me to finish cabinets.

I have a bull angus grill and have been really happy with it. Easy to clean, cooks great and manages temps well.

I also use my primo ceramic a lot more then i thought i would. It’s nice having both.

As for the fridge i now have a bull stainless fridge. The glass door fridge was cool but sweats so bad i went with a normal bull fridge.

Blaze, bull, Napoleon and DCS are all great products. You can’t go wrong with any of them for gas grills for built in outdoor kitchens

Nothing fancy, but I have a really old Frigidaire mini fridge that is still going strong. Bought it for around $100 at Lowe's about 14 years ago. It lived in an attic for 3 years, then in my basement the last 11. Every couple of years I empty it out, roll it outside, and bang on the ice that has accumulated. Rinse it out with a hose and let it air dry. Then roll it back in and plug it back in.

Yep thats what I have...lasted 4 years and I think its been pretty extreme. From the winter we had last year and the sun it gets. I didn't think it would be that bad when we did the plans. But the door gets real hot to the touch from the sun hitting it...and it always was cold on the inside. I am going to replace it with another one since I had the coverage.

Ahh ok didn't know that...the fridge does not...that I know

When I started looking for a big gas grill for a house I was building one of the Primo group buys was going on so I picked one up to try at the advice of wickowick. I loved it...so I then was going to get a smaller gas grill to have with the Primo. The more I used the Primo, I knew I would never touch the gas grill...so I got a 2nd Primo on a following group buy. Now I have options lol.
