Ford owners, if you haven't messed around with FORSCAN, you need to

$30 module allows you to connect a PC to your truck, where you can then edit all of the trucks control modules
I just:
- disabled seatbelt warnings
- enabled Bambi mode (can run fogs and brights at same time)
- disabled double honk (if you leave truck with key fob in your pocket, it honks twice - annoying af)
- enabled police mode. basically, if key fob is not in truck, the transmission is locked and it cant put be put into gear. No clue how this doesn't come as a default setting. With factory config, if you left your truck to run and grab something in the house, a dindu could get in and drive off with no issue (they just wouldnt be able to start it again if they turned it off). This prevents that.
- Enabled Auto-fold Mirrors (fold on lock, unfold on door close or engine start - whichever is first)
- Enabled Reverse Mirror Tilt - select a side mirror and put truck in reverse, then mirrors will tilt downward for you.
Takes 30-45 min to get all the software and drivers configured, but well worth the time. Can change pretty much anything about your truck lol. Just be sure to back up all the module configs in case you F something up.

Can it eliminate the Autostart function. I hate pulling up to a redlight and the truck going dead and then restarting. I always forget to push the button on the dash the first time too.

Will it let me turn off the annoying as frick "you left the key in the igniton" tone?

I truly don’t understand people’s aversion to just fricking wear a seatbelt.
Is it not abundantly apparent that you will die if in a mild wreck

Yes, seems to be the first thing people do with it

I always wear a seatbelt for 95% of driving.
If I'm at the camp or something and getting in and out of truck constantly, I aint putting it on though

double check to make sure your year and trim are compatible. seeing mixed things about getting it turned off via the "door ajar chime" setting. I have a key fob instead of regular key so I can't test for you.

Some people, like farmer and ranchers, who spend a lot of hours in a remote location in a pick up don’t need one for the vast majority of the time spent in the truck.

I don’t even know what this is?
Can it turn off the interior motion detector? If I leave the dog in the truck to go inside the store I can’t lock the truck because she moves and the horn goes off.

Sure you might get in a wreck and die on the way though hardass

I had this problem. When I exit the truck I set it to perimeter only alarm and the dog won't trigger the alarm.

go to settings, then advanced settings and then alarm and it will give you the option to ask on exit for perimeter or all alarms.

Carson, what exact model obd2 did you buy? What model truck? Been wanting to pull the trigger on one but was skeptical.
