Can't beat the classics.

When I was in HS about 6 years ago I bought an old 75 K5 Blazer for 800 bucks and rebuilt the engine myself. Interior was in great shape and drove great.

That thing was unstoppable, I used to for duck hunting because I could drive it through flooded rice fields to drop off decoy bags and such. I also used it to mudride/joyride in the summer. Loved that thing

My cousin had one with 44" boggers that he'd guide out of. It was an animal

Looks like they're trying to get some of the FJ Cruiser market share.

Unfortunately I'm sure it'll be 40k, and since it is still a Ford...

Why would you want that?

I'm sorry that looks terrible. I'll keep my Jeep and F150

The majority of them don't have an egr/dpf delete or tuner. But ok, I'm sure the 3.5L EB would blow it out of the water

Just not a fan of a diesel in something that is made for going in mud. Pulling stuff on the hwy they are great.

It'd be our version of the LR Defender, I almost got one but parts and maintenance would've been a pain in the arse

You are correct. Turbo lag is a mf'er in the mud. Zero control over where you go on packed down logging roads

new diesels are not either of these

egr/dpf delete
You do realize that this is pretty much a moot point nowadays, right? Ford has been setting up their diesels as a complete system. Changing one negatively effects something else. Most people don't do either of those on the new Fords, they just run a programmer omly

Don't know about this one. Still have a '95 Bronco and would love to have a similar one a few years younger.

This. Plus I think the 5.0 would be the best and cheapest option for this vehicle.

FJ Cruiser is rumored to be gone from production for the American market soon. If so, perfect time to introduce it.
