The only thing I hated about the Ragtop Jeep I used to drive was that I couldn't hang a gun rack in the back window!

I might get a holster mounted to my steering wheel column and go shoot some cops.

You're a cop, is this a problem that is on the rise. The begging seems to be more and more. And more aggressive. I don't mind some one asking for help when needed, but when a strung out drug user is looking for a fix, that can become dangerous.

I like my Seat Back, Gun Rack from Cabelas. I have two long guns hanging in it right now.
Anybody want to buy one? 2 - 22s (10/22 & Remington 552)

I'm thinking about getting a overhead rack in my truck just to increase the redneck factor.

This past Christmas eve I was filling up my wife's car at a gas station in ponchatoula. I can usually recognize everyone at this gas station. I rarely use cash, but I pre-paid on that day. They had 3 guys I had never seen before raising hell in there. I minded my business paid the cashier and started pumping my gas. Low and behold the hell raisers were parked right next to me. They came out and started shite talking to me. I kind of smiled wishing my wife weren't in the car. They kept talking and getting closer and closer calling me "white boy" (yes, they were "urban") I didn't have a gun at the time, and seeing about 3 in there car with a quick glance. I finished pumping and got in the car and drove away without saying a word. I carry all the time now realizing anything can happen without provoking anyone. If I would have been carrying I would have drawn on them because I was literally scared for mine and my wife's life. Always better to carry than not, and shoot first and explain later. If I would have stayed I probably wouldn't be posting today.

Man, that was a tough situation to be in. Sounds like you did the right thing. Even amongs those who cc, I think the value of retreating and getting out of the situation w/o having to draw or fire is undervalued. Even if you had been armed at that time, retreating like you did might still have been the best thing to do as you're outnumbered and they're probably also armed to some degree. There's the chance that drawing may escalate the situation. That's a difficult situation to be in. I'd like to hear what someone w/ more defensive training than me would suggest on how to handle a situation like that.

Yeah, I'd much rather retreat and get called a pussy by some trashy mf'ers than to actually shoot them.
When I can walk away or drive away I will, but my .40 is there for a "if I have to scenario."

Thinking about it later, yes, it was definitely the right thing to do. However, as downshift said earlier in the thread I'm young and think I'm bullet proof. It was probably a blessing I didn't carry on that day, but needless to say, I wanted to put those mfers 6 feet under that day. I could have taken an arse whoopin if I didn't see guns and my wife wasn't in the car because I probably would have popped one in the jaw

Don't forget the calvin peeing sticker. I saw one that had him pissing on the words "city boys"
That would work.

I always have my pistol with me in whatever vehicle I'm in. Sometimes my wife says why are you bringing it we are just going the store or whatever. I've read enough stories that I know at any given time something could happen. I don't ever wanna not be ready to protect my family.
