No, they aren't going to gain support from people that know better. We have too many people in this state that believe in what these guys are preaching. Those that believe in changing the laws won't believe these guys are lying. Like moths to a flame.

The only reason they aren't going anywhere is because they don't have the organization or a good mouthpiece.

Goins really has no clue what he's talking about though. You could tell him anything in an authoritative way and he will believe it.

I was viewing that thread yesterday you were being very professional and answering questions with facts and being very unbiased as well then out of the blue one of them called you a socialist and the three or four people left (aka the village idiots) all jumped on

last week they were calling out some delta waterfowl folks

they are running out of people to hate on

its comical and good entertainment though

I’m glad you got to see that and hope a lot of others did too. They want support and opinions as long as you believe like they do and totally agree with them. Although my statements were based on facts, they didn’t fit his false narrative. He got really paranoid and started thinking and accusing me of being in with others that were “out to get him”. He seemed a little crazy. His tinfoil hat must be cutting off circulation to that B.B. brain of his.

Like I said earlier in this thread, I've spoken with the guy over the phone, and he thinks he has everything figured out. He's a lawyer, a biologist, and everything else you need to be in order to argue his point. His entire argument is based on bad legal interpretations and the typical everyday hunter's "biology". Everyone that doesn't agree with that is with DU, LDWF, Delta, and the northern states in trying to ruin Louisiana's duck hunting heritage. He is singularly focused on his fabricated facts, and anyone who disagrees with them is promptly discredited by his followers.

Hell, his entire argument is based on language in the Migratory Bird Treaty Act that doesn't even exist. He talks about the original MBTA, but none of what he says was in the original MBTA.

Basically sounds like they are trying to get a bunch of baws together to make northern states change their ways.

What are they going to do load up a bunch of baws to head north and attack duck infrastructure?

I was coming to start a thread about this, but the search function actually worked. Those guys on that page have totally lost their ever loving minds.

It is pretty bad. I searched it out a few days ago to see what they were up to lately. The notes that Mr. Goin has on what needs to be changed are quote comical. I think he has no clue that LSU Ag is the Cooperative Extension Service in Louisiana, that every state has one, and that they all have differing management recommendations.

The best part is that those clowns actually believe their bitching and moaning influenced the cover of a magazine.

Some BS that the runoff from guys farming for ducks is causing a dead zone on the coast, let me rephrase that, the entire fricking coast of LA is a dead zone because of the runoff and or draining of fields.

Well, the only reason they are wrong is because it isn't just the guys "farming for ducks". Ag runoff is a contributing factor, but so is every John, Dick, and Harry fertilizing his yard.

I love their hatred of no-till farming as well. One of the best practices for soil health, and this band of misfits want it banned.

I got into it with them the other day. That Goins guy speaks in riddles and usually makes absolutely no sense.

I joined, but I'm not posting anything because if you bring logic, facts, reason, or a differing opinion you get banned. And I want to stay in and watch all the misinformation get disseminated. Some of it is so off the rails it's hard to believe they aren't kidding.
