Wise decision. They did just that to me when brought logic into that circus.

He briefly disabled my comments, but turned them back on for some reason or another. I’m so tempted to go post this thread to the page and see the fireworks.

Well that would be interesting. Then again, we might end up with the insane clown posse on the OB...and I'm not talking about the band either.

Yea, I was going to delete the group, but the crazy talk about how they want to ban hunting over flooded Corn keeps me around. Those guys melt every day. It is funny as hell

But in the group's defense, they aren't pretending to be trying to seek the truth about ducks. Hell, it asks you to ridiculous questions right off the bat when you try to join.

No, because they think they know the truth. It's pretty funny.

The clowns are at it again.

On Tuesday, Mr. Goins posted a table from a study about duck use-days in harvested vs unharvested crops. Guess what topped the list of unharvest crops...Rice.

Frickin clowns are going to bitch so much about flooded corn that they are going to get any flooded cropland banned from being hunted over.

So im no expert but this thing about flooding corn fields is irrelevant. Apparently no one associated with this group has ever hunted a dry field..... narrow minded idiots. But kudos for trying to do something instead of incessantly bitching for no good reason.

Anybody go to their event last night with Larry Reynolds? Heard it was interesting.

Apparently there was a meeting last night that they went to and filmed. When I watched it live, Larry Reynolds was up there speaking.

He said when he took those comments about proposing changes to clarify baiting to a meeting with all the other state waterfowl managers, he didn't get very favorable responses. Basically, most states told him to frick off, and a guy from Tennessee said he'd have to come to LA to find a job.

Best one was his colleague from Minnesota telling him LA needs to worry about their own shite first and quit trying to tell everyone else what to do. Said we are always begging for money to save our coast, and now want to dictate to others whether they should be able to flood corn or not.

Some of the guys were telling Goins to ask for minutes of that meeting to confirm...lol!

Also, Goins was marketing the whole thing as "Reynolds's vs Goins", as if it was a boxing match or something.

These guys are clowns.

Our rapidly declining habitat and land use changes are having a significantly bigger impact than 99% of us in LA will admit.

Exactly, but try telling these guys that. It's pointless.

They don't realize that this is the exact response they would get.

Get your own house in order before you start demanding that everyone else change theirs.

This^

Watched the video this morning from last night's meeting; this FFL cat cannot go about any pursuit of changes in this way, carries himself very poorly.

I am in Larry's corner until proven otherwise. We have other issues to deal with down here well outside of any changes Mr. Goins believes are to be chased down.
