I got my Catalyst jacket and pants in yesterday. Starting to wonder if I didn't order the jacket too big, not sure how its supposed to fit....Can anybody that has the Catalyst jacket confirm? I'm about 5'7 170ish and I ordered a large. Sleeves are really long, and unsure if its supposed to fit snugger than it does or not. I don't want to exchange for a medium if it's gonna be too tight.

I'm about the same size as you and have the medium Solitude jacket. It's snug but not restrictive. I can put a base layer and a down vest under it no problem. The forearms are kind of slim but that's fine for me since I mostly bow hunt

First lite / kuiu / stone glacier all make their stuff for active western men, generally taller and slimmer than us coonasses. If you get it with the sleeve or leg the right length, it'll be way too tight around the arms/shoulders/thighs/waist in my experience. Just have it loose.

If any of you boys need to lose some more wallet, This soft shell jacket is on sale at nomad. It’s not camo but it’s a nice jacket I just got mine in. I’ve never bought anything from them before. The code TURKEY30 makes it about $80.

Haha I have that jacket and pants. Don’t need camo

I wouldn't support anything having to do with meat eater. They are owned by the Chernin Group!

Well at least I will have nice clothes when I’m bow hunting!??
Jk man I’m pro gun/pro-oil/pro America but unless a company itself comes out and is anti what I believe in then I’m gonna have a hard time not buying it.
I mean there are tons of company’s that are held by investors/investing groups with directors that are not inline with my beliefs but where does the line cross?!

Much like how Meateater produces Duck Camp Dinners and puts it on its platform: YouTube who immediately puts it in the dumpster because it shows white men hunting, butchering and cooking. With guns. Guns are bad

I bet you are wearing at least one article of clothing right now that is in some way related to a company or group that does not have the same political views as you.
I fully understand speaking with your money when companies come out and actively push an agenda, but meateater does not seem to be doing that. They are still advocating for the same things they've been advocating for since the beginning: public access and more opportunities for people to hunt and fish.
