I have a Kuiu bag that I really like. Don’t remember exactly which one

I have a small over the shoulder pack that's about the same size as a fanny pack. I carry a compass, small extra light, knife, batteries, water, saw, lighter, thermacell, vienna sausages, and a book. I'll usually stuff a few sandwiches in to my cargo pants.

I have a redhead bag from bass pro or cabelas that I bought about 12 years ago. It is a soft bag so it doesn’t make any noise, i have had the zippers replaced twice and will keep doing so till the vag falls apart

Badlands of some sort that I will probably be moving on from soon. For deer I Cary:
First aid kit
Food
Water
Light
Knife or three
Zip ties
Flagging tape
Glow stick
Pen
Extra hearing pro
Extra layers as needed
Binos and rangefinder if not on my chest
May have other stuff like rattle bag, tripod, etc depending on situation.

Fanny pack only. Always have a climber on my back. I would never need the space a backpack provides.
Knife
Two lights
Thermocell
Release and arm guard
Pull up rope
Glove or gloves depending on temperature

I like the way you think. I feel like a squirrel with knives/utility tools in my hunting bag sometimes. If there is an open space, I shove one in...lol

My backpack is simple since my son hunts with me now
I always have a blanket and some hand warmers
Several waters
Then I go to the pantry and grab every snack in there and stuff then in every extra space I have and then stare in amazement as he eats the entire time we are hunting

I have a small one from academy that has held up for years. I can't recall the brand, but looks all tacticool. I keep a couple lights, extra knife, pull up rope, water, TP, gloves, etc.
When my son goes with me, he has a little backpack to keep his million snacks in.
Truth! No matter how much I bring, it's all gone. Same on the boat.

Depends on the type of hunting. Spot and stalk if I'm getting miles back in the woods I have an old northface 75 L that I can carry out a deer in. I'll have it loaded with a bit more.
Water, extra water and water purification.
Highly nutritionally dense snacks
Rain Gear
Flashlight with extra batteries.
kill kit-knives, game bags, gloves
extra ammo
Binos and rangefinder
compass
battery pack for phone
extra lighter
first aid
sometimes a tripod for binos
roll of electrical tape
flagging
wet wipes
Small diameter rope
If I'm going to be within 1.5 miles from the truck on my local farm.
Small drawstring style backpack
Dr. Pepper
Book
Snacks if I'm doing a long sit
kill kit sans game bags
headlamp
thermacell early in the year
wet wipes

For Western hunts, Badlands 2200. It’s a big day pack that can also haul out an elk quarter. I packed out my Wyoming mule deer with it last fall.
Back home, I use what’s almost like a camo purse. I like it for bowhunting.
During gun season, I’ll switch to a backpack.
In my bag now:
Thermocell
Two flashlights
Wet wipes
Flagging tape
Glow stick - to mark where deer is at night while I go back for 4wheeler
Knife
Compass
Water bottle

I use a cabelas day pack. It has one main compartment with a few small side and front pockets. I have straps attached to haul in/out outer layers that I put on while in the tree. Bag carries Binos, facemask, FAK, knife and bone saw, Latex gloves, orange vest, headlamp and flashlight, TP and i'll add water and snacks / sandwich if an all day sit.

since I'm 90% of the time I'm taking the ATV within 2-3 miles of camp & climbing into a box stand with an old office chair, I got an old black backpack from college (LL Bean maybe??). It's nice when I want to take my time walking in or walking out to stalk something.
Always in the bag:
thermacell & extra pads
water, snacks, powerbar
extra knife, extra flashlight, extra headlamp, extra AA batteries
USB battery pack for phone & GPS
wyoming knife & surgical gloves for field dressing
ziplock bag with license, tags, 2-3 golf pencils (Lake Bruin CC), zip ties
extra ziploc bags for tag when ziptied to horns/foot
lots of handwarmers
thermal hat & gloves in a ziplock
orange vest
Sometimes in the bag:
bino's & rangefinder if I'm going to a pipeline/powerline/turnrow
maybe reading material if its gonna be a long sit
bag of boudin or sausage if its a long sit
maybe a little buddy heater if its gonna be super cold (cancels out thermacell & I keep spare 1# coleman tanks in the box stands).

Medium size Fieldline camo pack from Walmart.
Always in the Bag:
Knife
Folding saw
2 lights (One headlamp, one mini maglite)
Thermacell w/extra pads
Binos
25' Paracord
Extra release
Field Dressing kit
Doe Pee/ Estrus
Extra Ammo
Safety Harness & Orange Vest (Unless I'm wearing them)
lighter
TP
water
snacks
I really want to condense down to a medium size Alaska Guide Gear bino pack. But, I haven't brought myself to do it yet.
