has newer body style, you don't save a lot going with a lower year and more mileage.
Nice. That is true.
What do you think about this?

looks nice. higher mileage but not a big biggie. i like the chicken lights more than the ones without for sure.

The mileage is too high. I’ll use Autotrader to find the right ones at dealerships like what you did.

I do like the Lariat trim with the FX4 4wd system

i'm a sucker for higher trims, have the lariat as well. i've never regretted not having a higher trim level in my truck.

You pay sales tax to get it registered here. Getting it shipped here would vary

King Ranch and up just seems too much

Correction: You pay the sales tax + registration fee

Just bought a ‘16 F250 lariat 2 months ago. Only had 50k miles and was in my price range. I like that body and interior style better than the newer 17s and so on. Rides is fairly smooth and avg 16mpg on 35s. plan to have it deleted shortly. Neighbor has a Ram 2500, it’s a good looking truck and has more interior room than my F250 but something about a Ram I don’t trust....:: maybe it’s because of the OB

Thanks for telling me about deleting your truck. How much better does it make it and is it mainly for Diesel engines?

BIL works for diesel repair shop on heavy equipment, CAT machines and such. He does truck maintenance on the side. Now let’s make this clear.....I am in no way a diesel mech or claim to be one, but the way I was told it keeps you having to use the DEF fluid. Emission may be worse and you will not pass Inspection in some areas, Nola and BR are the only ones I know of. He said he can get me 5-6more mpg and 200more hp. I’m just going from what I was told so take it fwiw

I am a GM guy and prefer the GMC out of your choices. Better materials and ergonomics to me.
Ford interiors just don’t work for me. Can’t get comfortable and I don’t like many of the plastics. That said I really like the pano roof.
