Essentials for a 2 day Father/son camping trip

Buddy of mine has started to organize a weekend camping trip. Sounds like it will be fairly remote/rustic. It is on a working farm, but not a lot of amenities for campers, which is fine with me. I've got a couple of tents that will work, as well as an air mattress/sleeping bags, a pop up canopy and chairs etc. And I have a cooler that will work for us (thanks NoColors) for the weekend. Also planning on taking my Blackstone griddle and some cast iron pans for cooking. Plans are to arrive some time on a Friday afternoon, and fish or shoot clays, then set up camps. Have some activities planned for the boys on Saturday and Sunday morning before heading back home.
Outside of the obvious like bug spray/sunscreen and stuff for the fishing and shooting, what else am I missing?

Mine will be 8 in a few months. No way I'm going to central Georgia for a couple of nights without some cold beer and a fifth of decent bourbon.

Folding chairs are a luxury
Got a ton of chairs from years of watching my daughter's soccer games. Covered there.

Hot tip I received from the OB that I utilized this past fall with mine:
Plant some milk duds or raisenettes, call his attention over to view the animal scat, then eat a few.
One of my kids to this day is only 90% sure that it wasn’t deer shite.
ETA headlight for everyone.

The plan is for the organizer to collect money and purchase all the food for the planned meals. I offered up my griddle to cook on. Of course I'll bring the standard 1st grader snacks, but whatever they want to cook I can handle that.

Make camp then recreate.
If you forgot something or your air mattress didn't inflate or your sleeping bag smells like cat piss.......you'll have time to recover.
Always make the river crossing, then camp, then do whatever.
Don't forget the coffee. I took my two camping last Friday.
Another suggestion, if you are able, having some firewood already cut is a help, especially for the first night.
Hunting firewood can be fun, but constantly hunting it gets old.

Make camp first, gather enough firewood to last the night, then shoot skeet and cutup.

Good old drip pot or perk pot is definitely nice after a night on a cot or air mattress.

Firestarter --> I like to use a small bag of charcoal to get things started. Starting a fire can be a huge inconvenience with only wood / kindling.
WIPES. All Kinds. Wet Ones, and the toilet ones.
A couple of cases of Bottled Water.
Make sure you have an insulation layer between you and the Air Mattress. The air in that mattress will stay cold/ambient temperature, and keep you cold.

Deck of cards
Sack of change to teach the kids how to bet on card games
Immodium for when the kids eat too much junk food
Whiskey for the dads
Garbage bags. You'll make more trash than you think you might.
Spotlights, dip nets, buckets

Buy a thick steak, vacuum seal it and freeze it. Bring that for your supper and split it with the boy. Wrap some quartered red potatoes and bacon inside foil. Build a little campfire and cook your steak over the campfire. Put the foil wrapped potatoes near the edge of the coals, turn it every 15 minutes or so. Potatoes should take about an hour, maybe a little more. Cook the steak as soon as the potatoes are done. My kids got the biggest kick out of that for some reason.

I always thought night games were fun once it gets too dark to shoot. Capture the flag or ghost in the graveyard are fun.

I don't have anything to add other than this thread reminds me I can't wait until my little boys are old enough for a camping trip with me.
Someone usually brings a little folding table to put food on for prep, that's not something I usually think of
