I got the Bubba Blade cordless for Christmas. So far I like it. 4 sets of different blades to choose from. They now have a more powerful Pro Edition as well.

Do they make those that automatically shut off when they hit your finger?

Asking for a friend.

The Mr Twister. We’ve tried a few others and they’re fine for a few fish but get really hot when you’re going through a pile. I put skateboard grip tape in key areas and it helps a lot.

Junk. I’ve owned both the original and the saltwater versions.

It's all we've ever used and they've worked fine for us.

I don't like using electric. I use an old rapala fixed blade fillet knife on everything from blue gill to trout

HOSS. It’s sawzall-based and will go through reds like butter.

We just did a bowfishing trip with Andrew Messenger, and watching him clean the reds afterwards with this thing was amazing.

I just ordered the Bubba cordless. The people I know that have it say it works better with the mister twister knife blades. Amazon reviews say the same. I’m going to try the blades that come with it first.

Bubba Blade cordless. Great battery life, 2 batteries, 4 blades and great travel case which I use a lot.

Highly recommend.

Had one and it doesn't hold a candle to the Bubba cordless. It's the best knife I've ever used.
I was hesitant due to the name, but its legit and I don't have go looking for an outlet no matter where I'm at.

Rapala. I would not touch a Bubba Blade; the particular knife (not electric) that I bought was garbage.

The bubbas look very nice but AA hasn’t given me a reason to swap brands. I don’t recall a cleaning table without a power outlet so I don’t see a need for a battery that I’ll get drawnk and forget to charge

Bubba Blade electric...kids gave it to me a few Christmas's back...very happy with it...my blades from the other electric I had fit and work great for trout bass and sacaperch...heaver blades with saw teeth are great on the heavies...never gets hot...

I guess we've been lucky. It did 50 bass a few weeks ago and it's not anywhere close to new. I've tried a couple of other brands and they always got hot doing a long job.

Glad it’s been good for you. Just reporting my experiences. I will add that bass are extremely easy to clean. 50 is still a bunch. Don’t know if fresh vs salt makes a difference. Used mine mostly for specks and occasional redfish.

Electric Rapala has been pretty good for the last 2 years I have had it.
