Only if you really sucked or didn't know what you were doing.

It's not just about first time. There are guys who have "hunted" for 10 years who don't know what they're doing.

This is why I am glad I have a lease even if its not the best

Eventually when I get time and resources though I hope to venture out to some public land but since I have been hunting 14 years I don't think I would mess anyone up

I went for the first time this year as well. Had nothing to do with Duck Dynasty . I was just invited, and for the first time was able to go. Private land so I wasn't in anyone's business.

I had a blast and am looking forward to getting into it, but it would be years before I would be comfortable going without an experienced duck hunter. There's no way I could consistently pick out what ducks were what while they were flying in without a lot more time in the blind.

everybody that duck hunts had a first time. It's like masturbation! The first time was awkward and you were not very good at it but you knew you would try it again.

I did notice this year there would be guys walking around in a store all camoed up with their faces painted. Didn't know how silly they looked. I'm sure they had a yeti sticker on their truck

It's ok Salmon. I can appreciate a little free thinking hippy type fellow. I probably wouldn't fit in with some of these fellows.
