Save that dog or you'll regret it.

Hopefully his lack of responses the last few minutes means he's in the drain with a flashlight in his teeth looking for Fido.

sent you the video.

Just talked to 3 deputies (they came out after i called 911)

They said there really isn't much they could do and that the dog probably got in the line from the west esplanade canal and would probably find its way back out.

I think its a dead dog. They did say that the drainage dept knows about it and that they will be out as soon as they can

Though they knew about it since about 5pm

Hit up Chris Roberts on Facebook. Get the word out. Enough attention can make anything happen.

Actually the dog sounded ok
Infact I've been wondering all evening if there is an open drain in someones back yard down the block.

Though I doubt it

Have you read this thread

You can hear the dog is in the pipe in the distance.

Pulling the cover to get a better view of the 5ft brick bottom and 4-6" drainage pipes will do absolutely no good.

They need a camera down the line to see where this animal actually is. Then i think street will have to be torn up to get to it.

right

more likely the dog, if in a small pipe, will tragically expire while they are trying to remove it by flushing the pipe with several thousand gallons of water.

If there is anything that you could use help with, let me know. I'm right down the street from you.

Doesn't sound like it though. Is the dog actually stuck or just in there moving around?

Where ever the dog is the volume of the bark in the distance does not seem to change. We walked the street and checked the other basins (while the kids guarded the basin that seems the loudest)

We were hoping to make the dog bark and find the dog in one of the basins ......but either the dog is in a pipe or its near a pipe somewhere down the street.

Either way it sure sounds like its in the drainage pipe somewhere
