2 person new crew showed up
8 people saying its a dog
Fireman shows up get in the pipe says its a frog or .....something else but its not a dog.
The pipe is about 12" and half full of water. He said there is no way a dog would not be moving and he can see to the next catch basin.
News crew went home dissapointed

Was this an extra small fireman who stripped down to his bvd's and greased down in crisco, simliar to that Chinese feller in Oceans 11, before pearlessly descending the pipe at great risk then contorted his body into an unusual and likely unhealthy position to be able to look down through the 12" diameter pipe and see no obstruction?
Or was this a normal fireman who was wearing the bulky fireman pants and boots with a normal flash light who hopped down in the storm drain (as many here have suggested you do) and simply leaned over and looked down the dad-gummed pipe?
