I buy a variety of brands, if I catch Drake or UA on sale I will get them, if not just whatever I like the best. I only buy UA for cold gear compressions.
I never thought about the no hassle policy for my waders, ankle has started to dry rot. Will be makeing a trip this week for a new pair.
Works great on fishing poles too FWIW. Even the ones with a mfg warrranty that tell you specifically you can not return to the store, they will take them back.

Have everything from GameWinner to Drake and Cabelas, to be honest cant tell much of a difference. I use the GW when I know I am going to get really dirty or muddy.

I was a game winner wearing fool. I still have a pair of game winner waders but I got a drake jacket last year and love it. I did notice however that i wore multiple layers when i had game winner jackets and now i only wear one layer under my drake jacket.

i just bought the Drake MST Eqwader Plus full zip jacket (no hood) for $99, best jacket i ever bought...i have a pair of redhead thermal base layers (just like under armour and comfortable) I like to be comfortable and not bulky so i buy whatever is the most comfortable

eta: i've only owned hodgman waders from academy and only bought 2 pairs in 10 years, noticed the other day that they only seem to carry game winner waders now

I got the 1/4 zip something like that. Best hunting jacket I own for what it does. I have a bone dry redhead parka for deer hunting that is warm as hell but can get pretty heavy if you're moving around a lot in it

I hunt in blue jeans and a carhartt jacket.

I'm not a fan of designer camo.

I wear mostly game winner. My gamerwinner jacket is hot as hell..

My base layers are extreme cold basspro brand so I usually wear that and one other layer on top.

Good thermal base layer is worth the 100 bucks

I hunted in a camo carhartt jacket for quite a while. My only complaint is a stiff enough wind cut it and if something hit my hood while it was pulled up it was loud as hell

Am I the only one that doesn't think that Drake stuff is expensive?

I like Gamehide, if you can find it.

I wear the UA base layers and love them. Have had bad luck with almost all GW stuff I've bought. Shrinking, zippers busting, snaps wearing out, etc.

God that sounds so gay.

So I'm probably going to be the only one who says this...but I wear Drake purely because it's a badass logo and I love the quality of the brand...but not for my duck hunting gear. I just own a zip up fleece.

Hunting jacket is a Herters that has a 'zip off-able' mid layer coat. Does the job for me. Both Max4 camo. shite though...as warm as it's been the past couple winters, I do need a lighter camo jacket.

I buy the very best I can find that meets my needs. I don't look at price tags nor Brand names. I have under armour, columbia, browning and I also have walls, wrangler, redhead.

I hunt in the stuff that works and change into the designer stuff for the photo shoots. jk

Is there a $400 camo jacket out there or something?

It better jack you off while you're sitting there if its that much. Let me put that money towards a gun instead of a jacket.
