Nobody uses Browning anymore? I have a fleece gortex parka that 15 years old and still as good as new. I also have the bibs that are great. I get my base layers at Walmart and army surplus the cold gear is some good shite for the price.

One thing I don't skip on for sure is boots. Ive got a pair of Danners that are great.

I'm mostly joking, but quality shite lasts a long time. I have a pair of Danner Grouse boots that are 15 years old, and have been resoled twice. $300 new, but over the course of 15 years that's only $20 per. I have a Filson jacket that was a gift that is 18 years old, and probably has some mud almost that old on it. Good shite lasts a long time, if you don't have to have the latest camo pattern every year.

Is there a $400 camo jacket out there or something?

It better jack you off while you're sitting there if its that much. Let me put that money towards a gun instead of a jacket.

Yeah Sitka runs that high. You can knock Drake all ya want, but get your arse soaked in 20 degree weather in a duck blind because of a cheap jacket, then tell me what that Drake would be worth to you. Buy quality gear. It'll last longer

Hell no I don't fork out money for under armor. As a matter of fact, right now I'm wearing the cheap bib and jacket that someone on the OB posted the link from cabelas clearance. It was like $15 or the bib and $17 for the jacket.

No I'm not knocking Drake, I was just saying that the rain proof coat I bought was essentially the same thing. They both are really nice coats, just the Game Winner was $140 cheaper.

The couple older game winner coats I had ripped after a year or 2

I hunt in blue jeans and a carhartt jacket.

I'm not a fan of designer camo.

I find myself wearing less and less actual camo clothes. This past weekend I hunted in a pair of $20, dark brown, "tactical" pants from LA Police Gear and an orange hooded sweatshirt I caught on sale for $6 a few years ago. I wear a number of off brand/seconds for base layer and military surplus wool sweaters for mid layer. I do have some Cabela's orange long sleeve button up shirts I'm partial too, as well. Only pair of UA I have was a gift. I like Carhartt dark brown overall also. Never bought anything from Drake. I squirrel, deer and varmint hunt, but don't duck hunt.

I have UA thermals and will stick with them for a while. Kept me warm last winter on several occasions where I was out in driving snow/ice for 4-6 hours at a time with temps near 0.
