yeah I want to put it on my AR but also my Remington 7600 .308 for hunting with my 5 year old son....its already a long rifle. Please advise...maybe it would be best to stick to the Nomad 30 for these use cases

Nomad will be fine.

I'll be honest though, I'm not sure I would thread my 7600. One, it's a gun they don't make anymore and is more of a historical thing. Second, you can get a cheap gun already threaded like a ruger american. I would say buy a newer threaded gun rather than spending the money to have a gun like that threaded.

Got a serial number for Nomad L. Finally got the eform in. It’s been less than a week. Outfitter told me trusts are taking on average 25 days.

I put the nomad dead air on my son’s ruger american 6.5 cm and it has been a perfect fit. Very accurate and very quiet.

Looking to get a Dead Air Nomad for my AR and my 308.

Any suggestions for my new MP5 .22LR that this board convinced me to buy last night?

I have a Rugged Oculus and the Q El Camino.

Would recommend either of those in a heartbeat.

The Oculus is heavier than the El Camino, but it's also modular (meaning you can shorten it).

I just did some research today and based on how I plan on using it, I’m going with the Otter Creek Polonium 30

Anyone have experience with this suppressor?

I have 2 Nomad L’s.

They are heavy AF but they are tough and will quiet down a .308.

I also have 2 Mask’s for Rimfire. They are also tough and easy to clean.

I’ve read that they are some of the best cans you can get for the money. But, have no personal experience with them.

They have really cool stickers, it's on my list to pick up for either a 9mm pdw or .308 JAKL type gun.

Fast forward to the FDR's third term, the head of the OSS (now CIA) walks into the oval office and proceeds to shoot at a sandbag with a supressed High Standard in .22 LR. Apparently, nearly a hundred years ago- OSS carried .22 LR pistols. This would have been about 1941 ish. FDR was dictating a letter and never heard Wild Bill Donovan shoot the gun.

Just think, of FDR actually followed precedent and US tradition and wasn't a leftist power-driven socialist, you likely never get the NFA and hunters shooters would all over the country wouldn't be half-deaf at 50 and cans would cost $100-200.

Just to make it worse, my Polonium 556 was approved at 12 days. It was an individual using e-form and paper prints. Buying from Joe Bob Outfitters was an easy process. E-form and paper prints was a lot easier and faster for the dealer that it was than when I bought 2 suppressors summer '23 from Silencer Shop.

Weren't wait times still quite long then? Seems like they sped up early 2024.
