I see what your trying to do here, but this only proves that you are an irresponsible gun owner. You're insinuating that a BB is harmless because it is a slower moving smaller projectile, and that a 7mag is extremely dangerous. All guns should be treated with the same respect because each has the potential to do serious/fatal damage
Holy shite. The dumbness quotient here cannot be measured.

I am insinuating that a BB is more harmless than a round from a 7mag.

I dont think a child being nipped by a shih tzu is harmless, but I do think it is fairly benign when compared to a bit from a pit bull or a pit bull cross.

My child will have access to a BB gun when he is capable of handling it safely. I will not give him access to the 7 mag at the same age.
If you cant discern the difference you are one dense mouthbreathing motherfricker.

That's the problem with a lot of pit bull owners/defenders. They simply ignore facts and common sense.

I'd rather have one in my house than you and your drunk buddies thinking you are the police

I dunno. With all the dog killers on this board, I think I believe him. Hell, they get killed for having a little fun chasing deer. Poor Fenton gets death, so it would not be a stretch to see baby-killers get shot.

He is some clown from the OT that believes pits are warm and fuzzy creatures.

If one owns a pit, and they are not a hog hunter, there's something wrong with them anyway.

Never claimed that. All I know is if there aren't illegal any body can have one. It's their choice not yours.

It is illegal to kill one for no reason though.

The real problem with "Aggressive breeds" isn't only their size but their size added to their demeanor. Take a Catahoula pup I once owned. I tapped him with a push broom once because he was in the way while I was sweeping the garage. He yelped and ran a little ways until he realized what happened and from then on I couldn't sweep with him around because he was hellbent to destroy the broom and the rougher I'd get the madder he would get, there was no surrender in him.

I can't help but laugh when I think about my 2 year old pit and then imagine the pants shitting fear the mere sight of her would instill in the OB. It's like if someone were deathly afraid of rabbits.

The reason for concern that this thread generates is the inbred redneck ideology that it's OK to walk around shooting things or brandishing firearms every time something makes you feel uncomfortable. That's really what we need right now, all of the fricking ignorant gun owners to open their mouth and show America why firearms need to be controlled. Slowly losing respect for the OB.

You think you're scared living in your neighborhood with all those pits running loose, click here.

Take this example, you get a lab and from day one never ever let it see a tennis ball, or allow it to fetch, 2 years later someone throws a tennis ball and I bet the lab will fetch, it is in their genetics, IMHO

Same thing with labs and water - they don't have to think about it, they just like it, period.

again

It is beyond absurd to me that pit owners refuse to admit that the breed is aggressive and can be dangerous. Why can you not admit this?

A woman was walking her dog in my parents' neighborhood a year or two ago and someone's pit got out of their yard. As soon as it saw the woman and her dog it charged them, completely unprovoked. Killed the dog and then attacked the woman who wound up in the hospital.

This was in a very upscale neighborhood close to the beach on the river with "nice," well-mannered people. No "white trash" or "ghetto thugs" raising/abusing the dog, just another pit acting like a pit when it sees another dog.

Maybe your pit really is the sweet, cuddly exception to the rule, but the fact is there is a good reason pits carry the stigma they do.
