What are y’all shootin? I realize it’s the off-season, but I’m addicted fo this shite and I’m a gear junkie! What’s everybody got sitting in the case? Latest and greatest? Aluminum? Carbon? Ole tried and true? Bonus points for pics!!! Arrow setup? Light and fast? Heavy and high KE? Fixed blades or mechanical?

Elite Kure, after that I couldnt tell you anything about it. Arrows, rest, release, quiver, stabilizer all picked out by the bow shop.
I shoot it lights out and centerpunched three deer with it.
I dont know a damn thing about any of the brands on it.
Eta: I do have a TightSpot quiver...I love it.

I like what I'm reading about heavy FOC setups but my current arrow set up has passed through every deer or hog I've shot with it. If I were going for bigger game I'd probably be switching.

Shot this spike from the ground still hunting from 23 yards, slightly quartered to. He was maybe 5-8’ above me. Went ten steps and fell over. Never knew what happened.
ETA: I built an arrow yesterday for the next turkey tag I’m gonna try to fill using feathers from the first two that I took with a 12 ga and 20 ga respectively:

I did not. It’s a Black Eagle Vintage. I haven’t gone down the wood shaft rabbit hole yet. I love an aluminum though.
