This will be just the thing that Obama needs to declare martial law, seize power, welcome to Nazi Germany 1933. All legal and necessary for the common good. Now he just needs a war hero to strut out and be the stooge....Cue Colin Powell. Not a war hero, more of a REMF, but who knows the difference?

Hell yes it is, the value will literally go through the roof and people will still trade them on the slick. What WOULD kill demand is if he came back saying "everything already out there will be grandfathered in, production will just cease in March, but we'll be doubling it until that day." Even that is highly unlikely.

I have no idea on the EO shite. He was just spouting shite at the gunshop. Like I said, I wouldn't be suprised if they threaten some over the top bullshite so that anything less seems like a gift. Hell, he's doing it with the economy and everything else. We got Obamacare that no one wanted. What Obama wants, he gets.

I don't think we can give and inch. Not even on magazine capacity. Gun folks are scared though. I guess I would be to if my job was on the line. Of course, everyone said the same thing when he was elected the first time and nothing happened.

Agreed. I'm afraid the re-institution of the Brady Bill is inevitable though. The difference this time is the court of public opinion has swayed due to last Friday's tragedy.

There is no question Obama will do everything he can to take every gun he can.
He has done plenty with executive orders already, and has complete control of the "Justice" Department.
Anyone who think our illegal alien president won't at least try to take some (or a lot) of guns is naive. The commission that Biden is chairing is currently looking at "the process," according to Obama-Clause.
They are investigating how to take guns. They will then look at what's politically feasible to actually ban or confiscate.
To the post asking "How will they make people turn them in?? Just like it works with class III weapons.
They could enact a fine so high (say, $500,000) and a prison sentence so severe (say, 10 years in a federal facility) that very few people would risk ruining their lives by hiding a gun.
