This is true but, they also didn't have the months upon months of people buying up rifles and stocking up of ammo before they were told to do this. Also, Katrina was a natural disaster not an environment where the people were thinking clearly if you will as they are now in regards to their rights.

They don't want any of that stuff. Or, if they want that stuff, it is secondary to their re-elections. The sooner you come to grips with that, the better you'll feel when you vote.
They're trading a position on the issue for your vote. All you have to do is hold them to it, and not vote for them if they betray your trust.

Of course he said that, his job is to sell guns. The gun industry has been riding the hysteria wave to record sales since 2008. And nothing has been banned or restricted, its hilarious.
The good news is I sold my used .45 for as much as I paid for it. The bad news is the guns I want are at least $100 higher post

Their not done yet. Luckily, they've had the impending sequestration to occupy them. Fortunately, the more time that elapses after these tragedies the less emotional people will be and the furor will die down. Now if we can just keep one of these stupid mf'ers from shooting up some more kids, we might stand a chance.

Romney's anti-gun as well. This was one of my many problems with him. I hope y'all are right, but I don't think they are done with this yet.

Yeah, but he wasn't going to push legislation at the national level, and we would have a veto option.
It is a very dangerous time for gun rights right now - "we've" got a very suspect Republican caucus in the Senate, a Speaker who has completely lost control of the caucus in the House and a Supreme Court that might as well have 6 Democratic appointees on cases that count.
Let's face it, Scalia, Thomas and Alito are the only votes we can count on and that's 2 too few.

Did they not mention a ban on all AR's (assault rifle in this case)? Did Obama not threaten to use EO to achieve whatever goal he desires shortly after this post?
I never said it would happen, but that is what the left was goig to push for and Obama would try and use EO's to circumvent the 2nd amendment.
