Not certified on TPWD yet so not exactly sure of the final weight. Weight at the landing was 3.55#. Caught 2/04/18

Nice extension for the pic

Still, that’s a hammer! I’d be torn. Mount it or eat it?

Just a pic of it laying on the ruler in the first pic would suffice.

Son of a bitch looks like a 36" grouper in those hoist pics.

In the comments, a guy mentions why he had to take the pic like that and posted this:

What a Pig though. Never seen anything that big as far as crappie goes.

It's probably 3.5lbs, but you can recreate those exact pictures with a 1lb fish.

exactly, why cant people just hold a fish normally.

you get no actual view of what the fish looks like because its held out in front of him 1/4" from the camera lens to make it look like a 3ft long fish

This. I can't even be impressed because the damned fish looks like a small fish held up to the camera. You can't get any perspective.

I make a point to bend my elbow and show it so it gives perspective of the fish.

I've never fished Fork, but it's on the short list for bass.

So a picture of a butt hole and two stupid looking pictures of him obviously holding the fish right next to the camera.

I really hope this fish is not a record.

My God, is it that fricking hard to take a picture with a fish NOT pushed toward the camera?
Small tackle fishermen are such drama queens

we actually caught one right at 4# with a guide on fork, but the guide hooked it, handed it to a 3 year old, fought it for 2-3 minutes, then the kids dad reeled it in. we were in 22' of water at this time of year near the dam on a ledge
