Looking for a well made comfy air mattress or mat that doesn't leak. Size/weight isn't too big if a deal as we will be tent camping next to the car.

Anyone got one they've used multiple times with no issues?

Highly recommend this along with their back country sleeping bag. Slept on in for a week during Ida and never had a problem.

Be sure to get something that is insulated if you will be camping in colder weather.

I have and like the Nemo ones, but there are so many out there now that are a vast improvement over the old school thermarest. I have had Big Agnes as well. They were comfy enough, but the Nemo is unquestionably better.

Does it need to be packable at all? The exped megamat gets rave review. I have a Kodiak canvas swag that just has a big memory foam pad in it, that’s an option too.

I bought the nemo tensors for my kids.

I've had to use their warranty twice in 3ish years. Developed leaks that i couldn't find. They replaced them with no hassle.

I use the big agnes q core deluxe. Haven't had an issue in a couple years. I find its more comfortable and quieter than the nemo tensor.

My wife uses the sea to summit comfort deluxe for car camping. That thing is awesome. Feels like you're sleeping on our bed at home.

I wanted to try an exped but I'm not sure about the longevity of their insulating properties.

The Coleman camping cot the wife and I use are the most comfortable thing ever.

I just slept a week on it in my office area while she had covid in the back

Coleman comfort smart cot.

I have a therma-rest that I bought in the 1990's that's still going strong. My kid uses it for scouts. It even has the "original" patch I made on the Appalachian trail out of the corner of my sleeping back stuff sack and some super glue. (I punctured it with a crab apple thorn while backpacking in Mt. Rodgers, Virginia).

Yeah, it doesn't need to be huge. I could do something the size of a sleeping bag if it's a double/queen.

ive got several Therma-Rest that I use for backpacking. They are probably much more lightweight than youre looking for but the brand itself is very good.

Definitely lighter. I've got a raised air mattress for car camping.

Pretty much one of the best if not the best but for car camping I like a bit more comfort.

Probably will when it's just me and the wife again. But with kids it just takes up too much car space.

How much are you looking to spend? I have an Exped Deep Sleep Mat. It’s a 3 inch thick, self inflating open cell foam pad with an R-value of 8.5. It’s like sleeping on a mattress. We have the double, but they make a single as well.

I think Ive decided I'm gonna go cheapish and get a decent air mat that will probably last a few years like the first response posted.

Then I'm going to upgrade to a cot with a thick memory foam mat. I just don't have the room with kids going with us still. But they are getting older.

My wife and I both side sleep and my hips dig in. Not a big deal for a few nights, but I'd like to be comfy and stay longer without being in mild pain every morning.

And I just haven't found anything that will be better for that than a cot that will last.

They make plenty of good ones. The Klymit Insulated Static V is another excellent one and only $100.

Actually, they’re having a sale right now

I’ve had two of these for a while. They pack up fairly small.
