Camp costs?

any estimates on what it should cost approximately to have a 900-1000 sq ft camp built. low end camp finish. 3/4 plywood floors, window units, minimal kitchen bath, like when these places used to be camps. Kicker, it needs to be raised 24 ft. so foundation pretty substantial.

You will spend twice on the pilings than you are on this camp. Where is it that has to be that high? We are up 17' in grand isle and I never thought it would have to go higher than that.

camp location is on beach in bay st. Louis. I just relooked and I think we can get lot to 4 ft elevation relatively simply and are in the 22 ft zone. So I guess 18 ft elevation

It's odd seeing all the new camps in that area. they look funny that high up.

I have $8000 in a 24x30 metal building on 10" C Channel, unfinished. Probably and $15,000 finishing it out with AC, elec, plumbing, floors etc. and did all of I think myself. $17,000 brother in law deal to drive 12 pilings, 45 footers, with 16' out the ground. And none of this includes any porches, decks etc. I'm prob $60,000 into it and did it all except drive the pilings and assemble the metal building.

Check the codes and neighborhood restrictions. I'm across the bay in PC and they vary greatly area to area.
