My old man lives on a lake in Louisiana and has placed three large brush piles near his dock in about 15’ of water so he can just use the trolling motor to get to them(he’s old). So jackarse has posted up on them and has been fishing two of them almost daily after work. This isn’t a highly trafficked area and he has to know that they are man made. My old man is irritated but too nice to ask him to chill out. I’m thinking I’m going to have to run his arse off them.

I don’t mind someone fishing it once or twice a week, but what moron posts up on the same two brush piles almost on a daily basis?

Tell your old man to go buy his own damn lake if he wants to have “his” spots.

It is one thing to fish brush piles in the middle of the lake. It’s another to fish two brush piles within 25 yards of a dock. You must be too dumb to know the difference

I must be too dumb to know the difference. How is that different?

Has your dad thought about notating the time the guy arrives and getting out there 20 minutes early on days he wants to fish the piles?

So is 26 yards ok? Is everyone going to be required to have a range finder in their boat to check how far they are from a dock?

I guess you are too dumb to realize it’s a public lake.

If it's public, then it's public.

Tell your dad to get there before the other guy does

Cross Lake, plenty of other areas to fish on that lake.

Depends on the width of the lake and/or length of the pier I’d reckon.

Why the heck would I fish other areas when I'm catching fish there?
