There is no need to be upset.

Are you a Mojo dealer?

Hunt with whatever you like. I use motorized swimming decoys and find them to be much better than a Mojo.

For us, they can work.

Teal season they work for sure. But what we've noticed, is that location beats a mojo everytime(but what WOULD beat location right?)

After a couple weeks of big ducks we start getting shite birds anyway and start hunting geese so I couldn't tell you how they work late season.

I lost my best one to a crack overdose. Sorry for letting my emotions get the best of me.

[quote]One group hunts over a mojo and the other group hunts over about 400 decoys. We hunt over 150 decoys[quote]

You're supplementing 250 decoys with one mojo?

I wouldn't know. According to some books I've read they are wonderful attractants.

I've seen them work very well on teal and wood ducks. I love about 2 dozen decoys and a mojo or two.

Thinking about getting a dove one.

The best I have seen one work in the last 3 years for mallards was when the decoys were out in open water but the mojo was placed a bit into the woods in what some would call a thicket. The ducks wanted to land at the edge of the thicket everytime. The blind was also in the edge of the thicket. BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

I'm no duck hunter by any stretch of the imagination, but they've worked well every time I've seen them used. I'm not sure why they get so much hate.

The LDWF didn't list it as illegal for the fun of it.

1. Fill burlap sack 3/4 full of taters then add a few bricks

2. Sink sack in a favorite hunting spot with birds in the area

3. wait a week or so for taters to start breaking down

4. Profit

The ole hide it in the buttonwoods trick. If I'm with someone who insists this is my go to. I ain't gonna lie it does work sometimes.

Still :teamnojo: though.

My disdain for them is because every coonazz in the state puts one out (with the exception of a few, myself included). The area I hunt has many blinds with big spreads and multiple mojos and I'm convinced they are as effective as live decoys at times. Plenty of duck hunters slaughter birds with zero calling ability and terribly brushed blinds because of robo duck spinning his little wings off 30 yards from the blind.

I also think that they condition birds in weird ways, I've always had better luck finishing birds to the decoys without a robo. But I will admit this, the robo is very effective at getting birds attention from very far distances, when I gave them up it seemed as though the big groups will circle the edge of range to often when a robo was put out

Just my opinion

I use 3 of them and think they are great if used properly.

All of mine are on one remote. They are on until I see duck spot them and turn to investigate. They are then turned off and the jerk string is used. If killed many, many bird using this method and haven't really noticed many birds flair because of the mojos.

And that's fine. But you said mojos don't work. Which is incorrect.
