He's telling the truth but you don't really start to see the benefits until you hit 100 mph.

I don't give a shite if it's made from panther piss. It doesn't screw up my equipment like fuel with ethanol.

I still use premium ethanol blend I get at the Texaco down the street along with the Stihl brand engine oil. I only make a gallon at a time. I use my blower everyday and the weedwhacker about once a month. Never a problem. Most problems with small engines (and especially outboards) is lack of use/care; not the gas. Any fuel (even non-ethanol and those @boutique fuels, too) will go bad if allowed to sit. I dont care for ethanol blends but its easier to get and the fuel gets turned over quicker at the pump than those non-ethanol pumps. The only people who "always use" that are people selling their boats. They ALWAYS use non-ethanol fuel. Ha!

I guess you're skeptical about their claim of a 5 year shelf life.

I really do ONLY use Non-E gas on the boats. That's because they sit up not getting used enough.

I found a half bottle of trufuel in my toolbox that's at least 3 years old. Weed eater fired right up.

I use regular pump gas in my mower and the $4.87 a can 50:1 mix from WalMart in my weedeater. I can trim my yard on 1 tank of weedeater gas and I can fill my weedeater tank about 10 times with a can of fuel. So I'm spending about 50 cents in fuel everytime I use my weedeater at home. I can I've with that. It works very good and I'm not going back to mixing it myself

I only keep a can of TruFuel for the end of the season for the trimmers and run it in my chainsaws and hedge trimmer. During the season it's Shell 89 octane pump gas, Sta-bil marine treatment, and Stihl HP Ultra oil. Mix up 2-gallons for the season and I've never had problems related to fuel. Quality synthetic 2-stroke oils have fuel stabilizers and as long as you are using a quality fuel can then the mix will last months without degrading.

Woof

Might start using it for my chainsaws. I just had to put both of them in the shop for sitting up too long

yeah, you'll more than likely have no problems if you just run the stuff at the end of the year and let it sit in the carb and tank all winter.

Really the off season here is only 3 months, non-ethanol 93 octane with what else I listed won't have issues anyway. I fill the tanks on my equipment after each use to minimize air in the fuel tanks anyway.
