Marinating it over night would be good. Using meat tenderizer, and cutting it up into cubes before cooking it for 6-7 hours you should be good to go.

Why not? Sounds like you had the meat just right. Guy killed a coyote the other day too, but didn't skin it. Maybe he'll have to next time

Why exactly? It's meat, plain and simple. I'll never understand why people have such hookups about eating certain animals. I can guarantee you if I cooked it up right and told you it was rabbit, you wouldn't bat an eye.

I cleaned off a deer skull yesterday, I'm gonna boil it later today, but some of the meat I cut off was tender as hell. I was curious about how it would taste.

Most folk usually don't eat mammal carnivores as a rule. The meat is usually too gamey and stringy.

It's thrown away now. I wasn't eating that shite, I let it hang overnight and it had maggots in it when I went to skin and clean it up

They still have some in the nasal cavity, I look forward to boiling the life out of those bastards.

Perhaps, but I enjoy novelty sometimes. It will be a good story at the very least.

Once while we were on a roll in the skining shed. The fat/meat bucket was full for a few days after scrapeing hides. Maggots covered the whole bucket. We soaked it in lighter fluid and lit it. It smelled awesome. Then we went and ate a waffle house.
