This is making me think about taking the straps out the next one I shoot, cooking it down, chop up fine, throw in a gumbo along with all the normal stuff just to declare it a bobcat gumbo.

And after the first bite......
It's not bad at all. Very tender, a bit gamey, reminds me of wild Pig actually. It's definitely not the worst meat I've ever eaten. All in all I'm pleased.

Everyone in the control room is eating it, no one is complaining, and several of them are getting seconds.

Haha, black guy we work with ate some. We told him it was rabbit. He enjoyed it. Told him it was bobcat and he freaked out.
