Got 2 bobcats someone at work killed hunting. Any advice. We are planning on cooking a stew out Of it. Any pointers? Best parts to use?

I didn't post this on the food board because there are people there who just wouldn't understand.

We we ain't gonna let the meat go to waste. Where I come from, if you kill it, and it's edible, you eat it.

Squirrels ain't nothing but tree rats. We eat them. Hell, I'm willing to try anything once. The things dead, meat looks good, why the hell not. I'd rather not be wasteful.

It won't be the first time I've eaten pussy, but I've never had it in a stew before!

It's a real tough meat. Needs tenderizing. Slow cook it in a crock pot with potatoes and season to your liking.

Hmmm, well we are stuck out here tomorrow too. Should we tenderize it today, maybe soak it in a brine or something? Marinade? Then cook it all day tomorrow?

We cleaned one and soaked it in water forma couple of days. The meat looked awesome. Couldn't bring ourselves to cook it and eat it though. Coyote is a whole nother animal. Tastes just like frog legs.
