Based on what i just read black panther is obviously wrong to say. It is a mountain lion. That was just dark brown. If thats what my grandparents saw.
But yall would rather troll and talk shite before explaining what makes sense and doesnt. Although my subject title is pretty funny and very wrong but im going to leave it for the trollls.

What I’ve gathered from the internet in the last 15 minutes: Cougars and mountain lions are relatively the same thing. Panthers are not cougars or mountain lions. Many including myself have used “cougar/mountain lion/panther” to refer to the same animal. Cougars/mountain lions are not ever black.
I'm being serious. And you're being combative and angry. If you want to fight, or call people names, then I can point you to any number of other boards on this site. The OB is somewhat exceptional within the TD community. In that we try to maintain some standards of decency and decorum.

My grandparents just spotted a black panther roaming around their house/shop. They live in Claiborne county. Unfortunately no pics. They tried getting pics of its tracks but the snow was too hard to find any. Personally we always knew there were some but never could confirm. Kinda scary to think I was just deer hunting over there a few weeks ago.
Now post it on FB so it can be shared 150 times.

Cougar, panther, mountain lion, catamount, no matter what you want to call them, they're all the same.
None of them are black.
None of them are black.

Yeah i had seen one dragging a deer from highway near natchez years ago. Funny how people refuse to believe it. Plenty of info out there to prove it.
Nobody refuses to believe that people see cougars.
People just refuse to believe that people see black panthers...because cougars aren't black, and leopards and jaguars don't occur in Louisiana.

The mayor of Jackson sounds like he may be a Black Panther.
Dancing into the 3 seed for the SEC Tourney.
