Just don’t use it much and don’t want to deal with the scammers.

You could always do a consignment sale with someone like theboatyard in New Orleans (marrero). They will sell you boat and take a commission off it. If it's an expensive boat it might be worth going through them vs fighting with scammers and undercuts.

Yea I don't like them either. I bought a consignment boat from them that the owner lied about stuff that theboatyard didn't know about so I ended up slightly overpaying. Either way it's a good way to sell your boat without all the hassle.

Was looking at one at Boat yard. The 18 year old salesman took the afternoon off during the time I set an appointment with him. I showed up and after an hour they finally got the boat into their water tank to run it. Wouldn't start, they tried everything and kept swearing they ran it a few days before. Finally checked the gas and it was so old it wouldnt fire. They probably said about 10 times they just ran it. Went and bought elsewhere.

The boat is a 2018 War Eagle 754SV. It’s the stick steer model with a 50 HP Yamaha and 24 v spotlock. I’m located in N LA, so a long way from the places mentioned. Anybody know of a reputable dealer in N LA that will do consignment? Bought it knew from Ludwig, but they aren’t interested enough to even return a phone call. Might try the FB market place but would rather avoid it.

Facebook is the way to go.

It’s not that hard to sort out scammers.

I used the Boat Yard, I didn't want to deal with the tire kickers.

Sold one on FB marketplace a few months ago. Only got one obvious scammer moments after listing and sold in a few days for asking.

I just googled dealers in north LA.

I’m not familiar with any but bayou outdoors popped up, H & W marine, and several others seems each town in north LA has a boat/marine dealership.

You could call a few of them and check em out or use FB marketplace.
