Look for a comfortable, reliable, concealable single stack 9mm for every day carry. No price limit. Not a flex, but with certain things I believe in buy once cry once. A daily carry would be among those things.

Been rocking a Shield 45 for years that I picked up cheap but looking to move to 9mm to get a few more rounds.

Does it have to be? Why limit your choices? The Sig 365 is a phenomenal EDC.

Suppose it doesn't have to be single stack...I just equate that with slimmer profile and thus comfort for edc.

Hard to beat the little Kahrs.

Or, Sig 365 if you don't mind a little more bulk (TWSS).

Yeah...I have the Kahr CW .40 and love it. I have a large hand and it fits just fine unlike the Sig P365 which wife has.

Mine is the Sig P365xl.

Can not recommend that gun enough.

It's a gun that can carry 15+1 rounds and it's 1" in width.

I don't know what kind of pants you wear, but I can't pocket carry a 9mm. Maybe if I wore cargo pants all the time. A small increase in size makes a huge difference if you're putting it in a pocket, and you should have room (IMO) for a kydex pocket holster; I don't care for soft holsters that don't protect the trigger. If you really want a 9mm in your pocket I think Kahr is the smallest reliable one out there.

If you just want a slim 9mm there are several good choices. Sig, the Hellcat, I just picked up a Shield Plus to replace a regular Shield 9. Here are a couple of comparison videos.

Glock 43X 9mm

Then go to

www.clipdraw.com

and get either the adjustable belt clip, or belt clip which can clip in any pocket.

Sig P365, Walther PPS M2, or Glock 43. Thin, reliable, and easy to shoot.

Glock 42 is a very soft shooter. Follow up shots are rapid with a little training. It can be carried in a normal sized pocket. I know you said 9mm, but technically a 380 is just a 9mm short.

I use a CZ Rami semi 9mm in a Galco horsehide pocket holster, but I prefer a S&W 642 revolver .38 with a Galco horsehide holster. 14 rds in the semi vs 5 rds in the revolver.

I really don't want to worry about another caliber. I've already got a lot of ball and hp 9mm.
