So can no longer tote the heavy chest, what is the best light cooler out there? The Yeti lights?

I love my Coleman extremes.
Affordable
Hold ice well
Lightweight
And i don’t feel bad when I drag it across the concrete when it’s full of fish or deer

Igloo or Coleman, just check to make sure they have actual hinges instead of plastic flaps. I have a Coleman Marine, stainless hinges, and the ice retention is probably 80% of the Yeti knockoff someone gave me after Michael. The rotomoldeds are hell for stout but now you know why.

Rtic Has been advertising that their soft coolers float. Shouldn’t all coolers pretty much float?

I’ve seen these advertised on my Instagram before and have been interested. I’ve never tried them nor do I know anyone that has tried them. The guy who started them claims they work just as well as the yetis and Rtics, but are a third of the weight.

I have an Igloo BMX 72. Light and keeps ice well. Next cooler will be a lifetime from Wal Mart just to compare.

I have a tan 65 that is very lightly used, pretty much brand new. And maybe a 45, not sure if I want to let that one go.

a full 45Qt igloo isnt much lighter that a full 45qt rotomolded. yea once you get to the bigger icechest they get super heavy but i dont see a benefit in the smaller sizes. Im also not talking about the 20qt, those are heaby and awkward AF to carry. i hate those.
i really want to buy one of these.

Just saw a 40 quart cooler test on the Food Network, Yeti fared the best, but a $65.00 Colman was there “Best Buy” with performance just a little less than the Yeti, don’t remember the actual Coleman model, but it had wheels on the back.

Had one for 4 years now. Thing is a warrior and will hold ice on a quartered deer for 3 days. Maybe longer But I’ve never tried.

ETA. Lifetime that is.
