These are badass tires but they are expensive.

I have them on my Tundra and very happy with them. They are a pretty good balance between aggressive and A\T. They wear very well as well. Would definitely purchase again.

Same thing I put on my truck. Glad I went with the 2.5 instead of the 2.

Another vote for the BFG KO2's. No lie, I got 80k out of my last set and just put on my 2nd set. Keep them balanced and rotated and they will last.

I have had the same results. Just put a second set on my 06 Jeep. Have them on my truck and my son’s Jeep. Tried other brands with limited success. Sold on the BFG. Proper air pressure, balanced, and to me most important is rotation. I do a five tire rotation every 5K. A set will last 20% longer that way .

Well yeah, you got 20% more tires too.

I just put some Interco SS-M16's on my 83 K5 Blazer. Very quiet, look great, and should last.

Goodyear duratracs.

I have 30k on mine and they are loud as hell now. There is a ton of feedback in the steering wheel over 70MPH as well.

You can get Goodyear Duratracs in passenger or LT tires. I went with the P this time. Little less noise but I don’t think they will last as long as the LT tires. It is not a full mud tire but it has more grip than the all-terrains.

I have a set of 37x12.50r20 with 55k miles. still have a little tread. not much though The only tire I wuld switch to would be a trail grappler, but honestly these are probably the best tires I have ever had.

Hankook Dynapro ATM. Great treads and last long. And cheap.

I vote the Toyo AT’s also. I’m pushing 70k miles on them and I still have a fair amount of tread.

Is it stupid to buy BFG A/T just for the mildly aggressive look and not plan to do much off roading at all?

No. They stick to wet pavement like glue, which is my greatest consideration when buying tires after having been in an accident on a wet road. You'll encounter a lot more wet roads and highways than you ever will mud.

Any recommendations on sizing? Currently, on Ford F150, I have 265/60R18 with a level kit. Wondering if I should go a bit bigger.

I bumped my similar truck up to 33s with 275/70R18s all terrain tires and I like them plenty without a level.

Hercules makes a good tire, has a good replacement policy, and last long
