What say you. I haven't shot any of them, but loved the feel of the Kahr and Sig.

Sig P238
Kahr P380
Ruger LCP
Kel Tec P3AT
SW Bodyguard
Taurus TCP

This or the cheaper version, the CW380. My dad pocket carries one daily with Talon Grips and a Crimson Trace laser.

The differences between the Kahr and the LCP is that you can shoot the Kahr all day without your hand hurting and it has real sights.

I own the Taurus and the Bodygaurd. My brother has the Ruger. Of those three the bodygaurd wins easily for me.

I held the Kahr and the Sig today and both felt great. Of course the Sig is heavier and is Single Action.

I have this gun and it a great carry gun because it fits in all pockets. Not a very smooth gun if you have larger hands.

If I were to buy a pocket carry 380, I would get something polymer-framed. I bet the Sig 238 is awesome to carry but it weighs more than my Kahr CM9 (or close to it). If I'm going to minimum weight and maximum firepower in any clothing type, I'm going polymer 380.

The difference is, you can carry a Kahr 380 or an LCP in gym shorts but a Sig 238 would pull them down.

Just something to consider...

Of the ones you mentioned, I had a LCP and sold it.

I handled KR's P238 this weekend at the OB Elite crawfish boil and I really liked it. It had some great sites.

Like I said it felt great, but yeah I think it may be too heavy.

Also consider the price tag. The CW380 can be had about the same price as an LCP (~$350) whereas the Sig 238 is full-sized priced.

Not to bash on it too much because I bet it's a fantastic carry piece... I just think it has some shortcomings.

It is Single Action and many people wouldn't feel comfy carrying it cocked and locked.

I like my LCP, fits anywhere I want to put it. Not something I would want to shoot at the range all day, but I didn't buy it for plinking I bought it to stick in my front pocket and it does that plus it has gone bang every time I've pulled the trigger. It is also priced right.

My dad just bought my mom one of the new Colt Mustang Pocketlites. Quite possibly the most awesome .380 I've ever fired. It's a single action, and the safety works cocked or un-cocked. It weighs 12 oz. unloaded and I can completely hide it in the palm of my small hand. I put it in my bAck pocket and it didn't feel much worse than a can of dip. The only downside to it is the cost. He paid $650.

To be honest, I haven't looked for them. He was looking for an LC9 when he found that. He said he saw it at one store and didn't think much about it but when he saw it at the second store, he decided to ask about it. I would imagine with that price, people aren't sucking them up like some other models.
