I can't stray away from Orvis if I want to blow through birds.

Yeah I figured that. I'm actually looking for some new fishing shorts not named Aftco chubbies. I usually just wear old torn up khakis but it's hot as hell and I need something that will dry quickly.

Same. My pops got me two of their long sleeve shirts in whatever "performance" material they're made of, and they're so awesome. I won't bring them fishing though hah.

Yeah that's kinda what I'm thinking. Saw some Pelagics with the fish finder graphics the other day

Eta: yeah my Orvis stuff doesn't see the saltwater

This kinda goes against my buy cheap mentality, but I wear these most of the time:

I normally buy one or two pairs a summer and use them for every day shorts and things on the water besides fishing, and then the next year I'll convert them to fishing shorts. They're really comfortable, not hot at all, and they dry really, really fast. They also don't stain at all and are surprisingly durable. I like them a lot better than AFTCO style shorts.

I wear Columbia zipoff pants. Dry quickly and can put the legs on when the gnats/horseflies are bad.

When you spend 40-50 days on the water a year like I do, $55 is money well spent if they're quality. What's so hard to understand?

I've been very satisfied with the La sportsman stuff. Caught a sale a while back and got some of their cool breeze shirts. Long and short sleeve. I also like some of the Limit Out stuff. But it's pretty much all the same stuff with different logos. The Columbia Omni Freeze is some legit technology though. It kinda sets them apart.

I have both Huk and Wicked Catch and they both are generally the same. I guess it boils down to what design you like. I have the redfish ones.

they have them at cabelas. The material used for the tshirts is like no other out there. I would have purchased on but they only had yellow and white.

I have 2 patagonia shirts and they are frickin awesome, however they were a pretty penny and it sketches me out every time I wear them while fishing.

Received the HUK PerformanceICON short sleeve fishing shirt for Father's Day. Feels great..plan on breaking it in this weekend.

Went with the short sleeve since I have enough long sleeve.
