My local fly shop had some Simms surf shorts on sale ($28!). I picked up a pair and wore them all weekend on the lake and river, in and out of the water. I'm sold. They look good and have decent pockets. Dry quickly and seem to be tough material. I may go back to the shop and grab a couple more pairs.
