Anyone fly a Gadsden Flag (don’t tread on me) at their house?

I’ve always liked the flag and the original sentiment and history of the flag. I Always liked the Virginia license plate and thought it was “cool”
So I bought a high quality, double sided Gadsden flag with the intention of flying it occasionally from my house.
So I got the flag, and so, after receiving it, I did a little more research. I honestly didn’t know that it was now considered to be ‘racist’ ... wtf?
Yeah, I’m a puss. I haven’t flown it yet. Very liberal neiborhood, don’t want my kid to be ostracized because of a flag..yes I know I need to move, and I’m working on that.

It's not racist. I don't fly flags, my wife has a small garden flag holder that gets seasonal flags, not real flags, those little sideways garden flags that is mostly defaulted to an American Flag design. The Gadsden flag is really cool, and the snake is actually on the shirt I am wearing right now.

An American flag is even considered racist now. If patriots like you continue to cower in fear, we’ll lose this country to socialism. We’re at the brink now. All it takes is for one to stand, and others will follow. Don’t let your child be a victim. Teach them to understand what they’re seeing and hearing around them.

Fly it proud.

I fly the Gadsden, Goliad, Gonzales, Trump, US, LA, TX, and TX Rep in a regular rotation.

Or continue in puss mode and order a rainbow Gadsden.

Not really directed at your situation, but my goal is to remain invisible until necessary in everyday life.

I don't open carry, place any decals on my vehicles (especially firearms related), place political signs in my yard, or wear any shirts that would make me seem "trained".

I believe strongly in not drawing attention, because surprise is a huge advantage to have against any opponent.

So, personally, that would keep me from hanging that beautiful snake flag for the world to see in the front yard.

With that said, I do have one hanging in my shop.

I agree. It’s not the trained thing I’m worried about but the attention it will draw and how I will react when it is my property.

This pretty much is how I go about my life.

Then I guess the Navy is racist because they use the Gadsden on their patches

Have an American flag and a Gadsden flag on the back wall of my garage. Put it there purposely so they could be seen from the street. I'm outside a good bit so my garage door is usually always open

Ahh. The good ole Gray Man Theory.

It's why I have a closet 1/2 full of Blue jeans and medium blue polo shirts.

Anything and everything is considered racist now.

If you are a white male, you are deemed racist.

Kinda like the boy who cried wolf, when everything is racist, nothing is racist.

This 100%! To many people want to broadcast what they are all about! Its all about OPSEC, I'm not gonna make myself a target for some nut job. I have my beliefs, but I don't feel the need to stand at the top of the stairs and scream what they are to everyone.

I still see confederate flags on occasion around here.

I doubt the locals would even know what a Gadsden Flag is or care. That’s the kind of shite busybody asshats look for to be offended by cause they live too close to each other and are bored and need something to bitch about.

This reminds me of why I like living in the sticks with no one close by.

That kind of is my situation. I don’t advertise. It’s not that I’m a “puss”.

I don’t live in a ‘subdivision’. I live in the middle of the city in a 100 yr old house. And yeah, I’d like to gtfo.

One of the absolutely dumbest, most idiotic comments ever made on here.

I live in a subdivision until my kids make it to college. Then we are moving out to property.
