I have one. I've used it for about 3 years now with no problems. It starts pretty easy. Runs pretty loud though, especially under a load.
AS soon as you take it out of the box, pull the spark plug and replace it with a NGK. Use good 2 stroke oil and turn off the fuel line and run the carb dry after use and it will last.

2 stroke baw, that's going to be loud as hell.
Their predator inverter generators aren't priced too high and are going to be much quieter.
ETA: coffee makers are a pretty decent load, I would check it out before buying. If you can run it at all, it'll be pushing it pretty hard.

one of my sub-contractors has one and it is LOUD as all hell

There's a YouTube video that details those generators and the fact that they are made in two different factories but one is made to higher standards. They carry two item numbers from HF and I think the lower item number is the better one.

LED's are sensitive to dirty power, might want to get the inverter model.

It's only 700 watts. Most coffee makers pull more than that.

Some friends of mine that have a camp in the basin use that one or a similar one. Just for powering a few lights, onboard chargers and other bs. They don’t complain about it compared to the cost ya know. Downfall as stated is noise and also will drink a little more fuel than a comparable 4 stroke one. Any given day you can find a 20% off coupon for HF though so the price kinda can’t be beat.

We have 1 at our camp but it’s blue. We only use it to run a few lights and charge phones. It’s been sitting in the woods with a plastic tub over it for about 9 years and the only thing ever done to it was cleaning the carb once.
I went 2 weeks ago and it started on the 3rd pull.
I don’t know about running a coffee maker, but if you run the gas out of the carb before storing for any extended period, it should last a good while.
And like the other guys said, it’s kind of loud so we put it about 50 yards from the fire pit and put it behind a sheet of plywood.

damn, that is nice. I wouldn't want to leave it around a public land campground at that price, though. That's the reason I was wondering about the HF model. If it gets jacked 100 bucks is easier to stomach than 500.

you can actually chain up this generator, your other thing, the handle comes off with screws.
This is quieter so draws less attention.

Don't be the guy at a public ground campground running a 2 stroke generator wide was open in the am, making coffee. That would probably make people want to steal it...

I have one and mine will max out at about 840 running watts. I have a 7 amp (840 watt) electric pole saw and it will work but will sometimes max out the little generator.

$114 is hard to beat.
Coffee makers draw about 800 watts on average. So you would be maxed out or over without running anything else.
Northern Tool has a 4 cycle that is 1800 surge watts and 1400 running watts. Has 2 120v outlets to HF 1. Also a 12v charging cord. Low oil shutdown. For $129. I think that's a better deal. Mixed reviews, but you will find that on any generator that is low end.
