Depending on interest rate and his ability to make payments, it may be more beneficial to sink it. You never know if he was under water on the boat.

People who own these kind of boats aren't worried about interest rates...

Don't ever make the mistake of calling an LDWF biologist a game warden to his (or her) face.

They used to have a couple cute ones that worked at Arties as well, but that really went to hell in a basket this year.

Saw that boat in Venice last Tuesday after we were done fishing. Fine boat. Sorry to hear it sank.

Leads to a question addressed above somewhat...if you had the money to buy a boat of this class and caliber, do you go enclosed bridge or open?

I know one guy that has owned numerous sportfishers and it about to head to Ft. Lauderdale in search of his next boat...he only buys enclosed bridge vessels.

He says that people that prefer open have never owned a closed.

That may be so but there are obvious pros and cons to each. Air conditioning, ability to see, others' ability to see you boning up in there, etc.

I think it depends on what you are using it for. A charter captain that is going to be up there all day everyday catching little tuna, wahoo, etc. will want an enclosed bridge.

Someone fishing tournaments for big marlin where communication between captain/mate/angler is important will want an open bridge.

only person that will care about it should be the captain since everyone else should be in the cockpit, or salon to get to the reels quicker.

If you're buying it to do a lot of local fishing with occasional trips (annual or bi-annual)around the Gulf/Caribbean; OPEN

If you are buying to take frequent trips around the western hemisphere (Bermuda, Caribbean, South America, Pacific; CLOSED
