So this stuff has apparently become the hardest f*cking ammo to find out there now. WTF?

Anyone having any luck finding it? If so, where?

Any ammo is hard as hell to find right now.

Yeah I get that. I can still find 5.55, 9mm, 7.62x39 with relative ease. Sure prices are high but with patience deals (given the times) can be had online and in stores.

I can't find shite for 6.5 grendel and when I do it is like a single 20 rd box for like $50. Just venting here.

If you owned an ammo company and were in the middle of the biggest ammo grab in the history of the US. Would you be loading common calibers or 6.5 Grendel?

THIS exact scenario is why I have 5.56, 9mm, .45, 12 gauge and 7.62 only.

Guess who hasn’t looked for grendel.
OP Every once in a while Ammo seek will have some that’s not $80+ a box but it goes quick. Optics planet was taking pre-order on some Barnes target loads a couple weeks ago and midway will have some come in occasionally but it goes fast so submit a request to be emailed and check ammoseek a couple times daily.

It's about as easy to find as .357 magnum. Or so I'm told...

Local Academy (Hammond) has been getting some in here and there. Mainly Hornady Black ELD-M. But I've had good results on big game with it, too.

My Ruger Ranch is sighted with the ELD-M, and my Sulzer AR with SST. Have killed deer and pigs with both.

Yeah, I check the usual suspects pretty regularly.

ammoseek and gunbot
midway
SG
ammodepot

It seems whatever shipments that do come through are very small and they go very quickly. Prices are sky high.

The last two boxes I bought were from local Academy but that was months ago and I haven't seen it come back since then.

Luckily 6.5 G is more of niche hunting cartridge for me so I don't need a whole lot. I'm just bitching about availability and price.

I bought one a little over a year ago and started putting up some ammo.

I gave a friend a box, but wouldn't sell a box for a hundred bucks now.

How much do you want and what kind? I'd be willing to part with one of the American Gunner boxes that I purchased a couple of years ago, but have never shot through any. For the right price, but local pickup in Slidell or Metairie only.

Was lucky enough to score 500 rounds from Sportsmans Guide last June! Definitely too expensive to buy now.

I’m looking for Grendel brass. I’ve got 500 bullets to reload, primers and powder, just no brass.

Wish I could transform it like 5.56 to .300 BLK.

Good luck!

Shoot some of that ammo and you'll have solved your problem of unavailable brass.

It's been a couple months, but I bought 4 boxes of 30-30 at Walmart, Federal something or other, for about $15 a box.

Buy a press

When you put pencil to paper it's not cheaper than regular price, but you always have some. Almost chose a Grendel, but the parts and ammo ran me off. The press keeps me with plenty of ammo.

You should’ve just got a .308 instead of trying to be cool and edgy

That would work, just not the solution I want.
