Welp stocked up on ammo, got some new work boots and jacket and scratched another gun off of the to get list.
They are lucky they didnt have the other two guns I wanted in stock.

I used my Discover and it worked. Order status says "submitted" on academy.com and I got an "Order Received" email from them

After I made my purchase I got an alert in Chrome that Academy's website was "insecure and that my connection is not private". I hope some China man didn't just rip off my credit card info

Was having issues ordering from my phone but it went through when I got back to the office computer.

update, got a fraud warning from my credit card co. I confirmed it was me and went back in to purchase. Now, I can't get the 20% code to work.

Only one code works at a time now. Choose the 20PCT one and it works

The first time I tried it both codes worked. Instead of buying I waited and now only (1) code works. I should have bought when both codes were working. Dang it!

Same here! I actually went to the Academy to try on the basketball shoes I was going to order. I'm kicking myself that I waited.

Told my coworker before lunch the same thing.
It's like one of those...You have a gun to your head and have to pick a person to call that won't answer the phone. If someone does answer, boom.

Like there's a huge difference between 20% and 28% off.
For what it's worth, I ordered from them twice, once with both codes, and once with the 20% code only. I checked both orders, they are listed as "submitted".

If they chose to renege on that, I wouldn't get pissed. Hard to turn down a chance like that. They reserve the right to explain that it was all just a mistake.
