Anyone know if Toyota is still trying to fix some issues w the tundra still? I’ve heard of a few different issues w newer model over past 2-3 years.

Mine is a '22 that I got in May '22.

It's been a really good truck so far. There have been some recalls on minor things but nothing major.

My is not a hybrid.

I have enjoyed driving it. Has a ton of power.

With a new design they are bound to encounter some problems. I’m considering the tundra once the interest rates fall. But I’ll give 3-4 years on the new design. Works the bugs out.

The waste gate issue? I think that was resolved fairly quickly after they were shipping as the became more widely known. I don't think that is an issue anymore.

Also means what little money you saved on gas you will be dumping right back into it down the road to replace turbos...if you plan on keeping the truck long term

in a couple years I'll probably get rid of my 2012 and get a 2021 or older with around a 100k. Not touching the new model, I'm too hard on vehicles. I want something that is going to run 300k trouble free miles on minimum maintenance with no issues.

Hit me up then, I might be looking to get a new one. I have a 21 Tundra Limited Nightshade, currently with 12K miles on it. I work from home.

Gotta give Yota's a few years to work out the kinks when they introduce new engines to the market.

The people I know with the new ones have been having small problems and spending time at the dealership getting things fixed.

The motor was used in Lexus prior to the 3rd gen Tundra.

I’m contemplating getting a 24 model soon. Unless I watch that whole video posted above lol.
