Looking for a morning deer before I have to head home at lunch. Already cleared the bowels twice this morning so I should be good, I hope.

Good luck OB and be safe.

Ground box looking into a lane down some CRP where we suspect 3 big bucks that are nightly visitors at other stands are spending their day time hours.

I crapped the bed this afternoon.

had two does feeding in my corn at 25 yards (hunting my bow stand with the 300), they turn tail and haul arse and I hear what sounds like a bull coming.

I'm up 23 ft with limbs under me and can't find this deer in my scope, too dark. I'm shooting a Leupold with the red dot but all I could see were leaves on the limbs under me. I have pictures of three tanks at this stand and am sure this was one of them, been passing small bucks trying to get a trophy.

It was so dark I couldn't tell what was happening so I get half way down my steps to leave and he's standing there eating.

Feeling like a dumbarse
