She just shot another one. I was watching thru the binoculars and it kicked like a bronco this time. Gonna go check in a few mins.

Found it after looking a hr. no blood trail. She got a button buck at 125 yards, drilled him in the chest. The doe she missed was at 40 yards. She experienced the lowest of lows and the highest of highs. Finally killed her first deer!!!!!!

Thought my buddy was out of stand and needed to talk to him before he left the woods. 5 minutes after I get to where we park the trucks he text to let me know he ran a big 10 under my stand getting out.

That's Jed my in laws American Bulldog. He loves to clean deer. He ends up getting a full belly

Oh yeah. She was looking forward to it. She has been helping me clean deer since she was old enough to walk. She has been hunting with me the last 5 years. I never pressured her to shoot one. This year she said she was ready. Took her out to the range and let her sling some lead and she is a pretty good shot. Earlier this season she killed two hogs one evening both head shots with a single shot .243. Don't know why she missed the easy shot tonight, I guess the nerves got the best of her.

Late add for the IST but wacked a doe last night Washington Parish. Pretty good hunt for there, had 5 in the plot before I shot, no horns showed up so I filled the freezer.
