Been in the stand since daybreak. Thermometer in stand read 26 deg at sunrise. Now reads 65. Only heard 3 shots all morning. The last was at 1030. Hopefully they start moving as predicted.
Gonna try to stay in stand till at least 2 but that deer sausage and cold Natty Lights back at the camp are calling my name.

been here since 5:45. 4pt ran by at 8:30 and 2 does and a fawn just scampered across the plot. none of the deer took their time crossing to eat. today us the 1st weekend for dogs so they must be running around. I'll be here until sunset.

Got to my first stand at 5:30 and loggers have clear cut the shite out of the area since thanksgiving. took my lock-on down before they got that tree and saw 6 does close to the truck. Left that spot and went to another one on the lease.
Ended up seeing 8 more deer and killed 2 of them. Rut is startin here.
