There is something wrong with this picture. Is this not about having your best athletes representing.

In addition, there are stipulations as to who can play for each 3x3 roster. Players accrue points by playing in more sanctioned 3x3 events over the course of the year, and those who have not participated are not allowed to be placed on the team, unlike with 5x5 rosters, where first-timers are eligible for any competition. Those guidelines certainly led to tougher situations for USA Basketball in building these rosters, but longer-range planning and better selling the 3x3 game to top stars could have remedied them. Instead, we're left with the best basketball country in the world, losing in both men's and women's 3x3 games on the same Olympics day.

What an embarrassment she has been for Team USA. Not only has her team gone 0-3 so far in play but she's missing wide-open layups and getting called for traveling constantly. Her teammates are crying worse than LeBron. It's a bad look for them. Easily the most disappointing team from USA

Well, the men’s 3x3 team is giving them a run for their money.

she's spent the last season being one of the most overrated players in women's cbb. this isn't a shock.

Her teammate Dearica Hamby might be the worst of the bunch. She literally cried to the refs after every time she touched an Aussie girl.

Clark has never played 3x3
But yeah she would have been a much better choice then Van Lith
If Taurasi would stop hogging the olympics then maybe someone like Clark could have gone, she's only been 6 times

They're starting a women's pro 3x3 league this off-season. Just get some of those tournaments sanctioned and the US will be good to go.

NBA should do the same. 3x3 would be exciting and fun with NBA All-Stars (even bench players would be better than what we have).

Someone on the Rant is pissy about me talking about HVL on there when she has everything to do with LSU. Grow up

Considering she went straight from college ball to the WNBA with almost no break in-between it's probably better for Clark that she gets a little time off this summer in the long run

85% of the Rant probably doesn't even click on the Olympics page yet I post how her team isn't doing well in the Olympics on the Rant (LSU-related, she literally played here last season) and someone gets their feelings hurt. Pathetic.

Dang, you'd thing with Ice Cube's 3v3 league we could field pretty good teams for the men's side, at least. I guess those guys don't want to risk injury by playing in "sanctioned events" to qualify for the Olympics.

3on3 is different. Van Lith has been playing that for years with that team.

Van Lith was garbage last year at LSU. I'm confused why people think she is great at basketball. Sure she is a nice young woman.

She was decent at UofL but I’m gonna be honest, that’s because Walz is a great coach.

She looked like warm dogshit in the 3x3 when I watched yesterday. The team looked much better when she wasn’t in. She has no business being there.

The bitchy Clark fans don't care about rules or qualifications, we should just stick Clark in there over the person who earned it
